There’s something so special about photographing newborns in a setting as peaceful and beautiful as The Muse Manor. The soft light, clean design, and cozy textures make it feel like the perfect little pocket of calm, just what new parents need in those early days.
This session was extra special to me because it was for a family I absolutely adore. I’ve had the joy of photographing Sarah and Josh for years now. From their engagement session to their wedding, then their pregnancy announcement, maternity session, and now their sweet newborn photos with baby Clara. Watching their story unfold and getting to document each chapter has been one of the greatest privileges of my work.
Clara was a little dream—so content, so tiny, and so loved. The Muse Manor gave us the perfect neutral backdrop to let her peaceful presence and the love her parents have for her shine. Whether she was bundled in soft wraps, nestled into the textures of the space, or being gently snuggled by Sarah and Josh, every moment felt calm, quiet, and full of connection.
What I love most about in-home-style sessions (even in studio-like spaces) is how relaxed they feel. There's no pressure or performance, just space to breathe, cuddle, and soak in this new chapter.
