Megan + Matt | Huntsville, Texas Engagement Photographer

When Megan reached out me about shooting her and Matts wedding I was over the moon excited. Finding the perfect location for their engagement session was super easy and very obvious. Megan and Matt met at the Huntsville Fire station several years ago while Megan was working for EMS and Matt worked for the fire station. It was only fitting that we started out their engagement session at this very fire station where they met and fell in love. As Megan said herself they “were a match made in a fire station.” I’m sure this little fire station will always mean a lot to them, and I was so happy to be able to capture that part of their relationship.

The morning of their engagement session I woke super bright and early and made the drive to Huntsville before the sun came up. We started off at the fire station where they fell in love and then ended their session at a super hidden location somewhere deep in the woods. Matt was apart of a search and rescue for a little boy who went missing (which thankfully had a happy ending) and found this gorgeous spot super deep in the forest and knew he wanted to take engagement pictures there. I think Matt has a pretty good eye for an excellent location because this spot was absolute perfection. (Hey Matt, maybe you can come location scouting with me sometime haha). They even brought along their two adorable rescue pups Charlie and Beau which I absolutely adored.
